Humphrey Memorial Park and Museum Benefit AuctionWe were pleased to help raise funds for the Humphrey Memorial Park and Museum in Evergreen, Colorado. This event, held on October 23, 2003, was special because the items we sold were not donated, as is usually the case with a charity auction. We sold tangible art, jewelry and antiques that belonged to a pioneer Colorado family. Instead of the proceeds going to family heirs, funds raised at this auction went to endow a non-profit entity created to preserve and maintain the family's 43 acre ranch and museum near Soda Creek. The event was hosted by Museum Director, Peggy Shaw, and Richard Kimball of Richard H. Kimball Designs in Denver. Our Manager, Scott Alexander, did the bid calling at the live auction. The event was held at The Pines at Genesee. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What We Sold

The grandmother, mother and daughter all loved art, collectibles and jewelry. They amassed a significant collection from their many transatlantic cruises and journeys to the southwestern United States. The items we sold were identified as duplicates and/or are non-intrinsic to the Museum's main collection. Items offered included:
